Progress: Revising Volume 1, Drafting Volume 2
The year is 2072. Half a century after humanity faced near-ruin, society is in a peaceful and prosperous era. People have learned to cope with a thriving and more dangerous natural world, which emerged during the disaster.
Jovita, an artist from Miami with electric powers, evades super-powered enemies in order to uphold a promise to end a poisonous corruption that's killing more life with each passing day, but fears she's not strong enough for the task. Dylan, a soldier with ice abilities, is driven to follow his heart and protect the innocent but struggles to maintain his brooding facade and navigate his organization’s strict rules. Lauren, artificial intelligence in the form of a wolf, strives to defend her loved ones from suffocating despair inflicting her kind. Ranya, a humanoid dragonfly with wind powers, seeks answers to forbidden questions that may cost her freedom if she’s not careful.
The four must learn to work together and protect the Earth from a returning blight. Fail, and the world descends into a new, lifeless dark age.
